The 2500E (model TU-SC2500E) puts a permanent-magnet motor on each axle — 10kW up front and 15kW at the rear — for constant four-wheel traction, instant torque and less driveline drag and noise. It's the single-cab, work-focused member of the electric Tuatara family.
A 26.5kWh lithium iron phosphate battery delivers up to 150km of range, while regenerative braking recovers energy on every descent. Like every Tuatara it's built on an all-steel ladder chassis with a 2,000kg winch, power steering and a full steel cargo tray — just with clean, quiet electric drive and barely any servicing.
The 2500E runs clean and quiet, with costs equivalent to roughly 30c a litre and the option to charge straight off your solar.
